Comments: Animals were immunized with a synthetic lactoganglioseries glycolipid.
Spleen cells were fused with P3X63Ag8U.1 mouse myeloma cells.
Both YI328-18 (ATCC HB-9306)and YI328-51 (ATCC HB-9307) specifically recognize the abnormal branching structure of the lactoganglioseries glycolipid antigen molecule and have almost no cross-reactivity with smaller unbranched segments.
Propagation: ATCC complete growth medium: The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated RPMI-1640 Medium, Catalog No. 30-2001. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium: fetal bovine serum to a final concentration of 10%.

YI 328-18细胞Cultures can be maintained by the addition of fresh medium or replacement of medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 1 to 2 X 10 exp5 viable cells/ml.
Maintain cell density between 1 X 10 exp5 and 1 X 10 exp6 viable cells/ml.
Preservation: Freeze medium: complete growth medium supplemented with an additional 10% fetal bovine serum and 10% (v/v) DMSO.
